The National Festival of the States selected the Chorus to represent the Commonwealth of Virginia, in Boston, Massachusetts for its 2003 festival.

Selections were based upon recommendations of state music officials and past achievements. The Chorus performed for enthusiastic audiences of Boston area residents, tourists and Veterans groups. Prominent performance venues included Faneuil Hall Marketplace-Quincy Market.
